What is Blind Cricket?

Blind Cricket is a slightly altered version of standard cricket designed for visually impaired and blind people. The main differnces are:

• The team is made up of a mixture of vision impaired and totally blind players
• The ball is bowled underarm
• The ball must bounce at least twice before reaching the batsman
• A totally blind bowler uses a caller behind the stumps while bowling
• A totally blind batsman has a runner to run up the pitch for them

Apart from these differences, there are some restrictions regarding the number of players of each vision category and how little or long each can bowl.
